Ethan, a young man with amnesia, wakes to discover that humanity has destroyed the earth and nature is reclaiming itself with moss-covered roaming dead. In this dangerous post-apocalyptic future, Ethan clings to one purpose, finding his girlfriend Emma. He soon finds himself in the crosshairs of Mae, a tenacious and eccentric survivalist.
Based on the director's own life, the film centers around a people-pleasing young woman who, while searching for her estranged father online, unexpectedly forms a close bond with a grieving, childless man, with the same name as her father, on Facebook.
